Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of CS2.you, including profile pages, inventory showcases, favorites, follows, search, rankings, admin-imported profile data, and any related tools or pages.

By using CS2.you, signing in with Steam, claiming a profile, editing profile content, or accessing public inventory and database pages, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

CS2.you may update these Terms as the site changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

CS2.you is an independent fan-built service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by Valve Corporation, Steam, Counter-Strike, or any marketplace or pricing platform.

Steam names, avatars, SteamID64 values, inventory data, item names, item images, inspect links, float data, stickers, charms, and related metadata may come from Steam, Valve, public inventory endpoints, user submissions, or other third-party sources.

Your use of Steam remains subject to Steam terms, Steam privacy settings, and Valve policies. CS2.you does not control Steam authentication, Steam inventory availability, Steam rate limits, or Steam data accuracy.

CS2.you uses Steam OpenID sign-in. We do not ask for, receive, or store your Steam password, Steam Guard code, or Steam login credentials.

You are responsible for keeping your Steam account secure and for all activity performed through your CS2.you session.

You may not claim, edit, impersonate, or misrepresent a profile that you do not own or have permission to manage.

Public Steam profiles and public inventories may be indexed before the owner signs in. An indexed profile may be shown as unclaimed until the matching Steam account signs in and claims it.

Claimed, verified, pro, admin, premium, or other badges are site labels used for display, trust, moderation, or product features. CS2.you may add, remove, review, or correct badges at any time.

Custom profile URLs may be limited to premium, admin, verified, or otherwise eligible accounts. CS2.you may reject, reserve, rename, or remove custom URLs that are misleading, abusive, infringing, offensive, inactive, or needed for site operations.

Profile names, bios, locations, links, banner choices, featured items, favorites, collections, and other edits you submit are your responsibility.

Do not submit content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, threatening, fraudulent, defamatory, infringing, malicious, or designed to deceive other users.

By submitting content to CS2.you, you give CS2.you permission to host, store, copy, display, format, moderate, and use that content as needed to operate and promote the service.

CS2.you stores inventory snapshots, normalized item data, item attachments, float ranking data, featured item snapshots, favorite snapshots, profile statistics, and other records needed to operate profile, home, database, and admin pages.

Inventory data can become stale, incomplete, duplicated, unavailable, or incorrect because of Steam privacy settings, Steam failures, rate limits, user inventory changes, unavailable inspect data, or third-party data issues.

If a Steam inventory is private, unavailable, or rate limited, CS2.you may show older stored data, partial data, an error state, or no inventory data.

Database ranks, low-float ranks, high-float ranks, StatTrak ranks, Souvenir ranks, counts, collection statistics, sticker displays, charm displays, and other item labels are informational only.

CS2.you does not guarantee that any item is the absolute lowest float, highest float, most valuable, rarest, or otherwise best item worldwide. Rankings are based on data available to CS2.you at the time they are calculated.

Any prices, market references, external listings, or value estimates shown now or in the future are not financial advice, trading advice, appraisal advice, or a guarantee that an item can be bought or sold for that amount.

CS2.you is a showcase, discovery, indexing, and profile service. Unless a separate feature explicitly says otherwise, CS2.you does not broker trades, hold skins, escrow items, process Steam trades, guarantee counterparties, or provide buyer or seller protection.

Never send items, money, passwords, API keys, authentication codes, or trade confirmations to someone claiming to represent CS2.you unless the official site clearly supports that exact action.

You are responsible for verifying all external trades, links, offers, listings, and users outside CS2.you.

Use CS2.you only for lawful CS2 inventory showcase, discovery, search, profile, and database purposes.

Do not abuse Steam requests, attack the site, bypass access controls, interfere with queues, scrape aggressively, overload endpoints, evade rate limits, test stolen credentials, upload harmful content, impersonate another person, or use CS2.you to scam, spam, phish, harass, or mislead users.

Do not reverse engineer private APIs, automate account creation, manipulate rankings, submit false profile claims, hide malicious links, or use the service in a way that could harm CS2.you, Steam, Valve, third-party services, or other users.

CS2.you may enforce rate limits, queues, delays, blocks, captchas, manual reviews, or access restrictions to protect users, Steam request limits, third-party limits, infrastructure, and data quality.

You may not run bots, crawlers, scrapers, mirrors, bulk downloads, or automated traffic against CS2.you without written permission from the site operator.

CS2.you may throttle, suspend, block, or delete activity that appears abusive, automated, harmful, or excessive, even if that activity is not specifically listed in these Terms.

Admins may import SteamIDs, queue profile lookups, queue inventory syncs, discover public profiles from external sources, and store limited metadata explaining why a profile was queued.

Imported or discovered profiles are not endorsements. They are public or submitted records used for indexing, discovery, statistics, and database coverage.

CS2.you may skip, deduplicate, delay, remove, or reprioritize imported profiles to protect request limits, avoid duplicates, improve data quality, or comply with user requests.

CS2.you may offer premium, supporter, or paid subscriptions that unlock site features such as custom profile URLs, increased manual inventory refresh limits, profile customization, badges, expanded showcases, or other CS2.you tools.

Premium features are site features only. They do not include CS2 skins, Steam items, trading services, gambling, betting, marketplace custody, item appraisal guarantees, investment advice, or any promise that a Steam item will gain value.

Paid features, pricing, benefits, limits, and availability may change over time. A paid feature does not guarantee uninterrupted access, specific inventory results, specific rankings, or permanent badge or URL ownership.

If subscriptions are offered, payments may be processed by a third-party Merchant of Record or payment processor such as Paddle. The billing provider may handle checkout, payment methods, taxes, invoices, receipts, subscription management, chargebacks, fraud review, and customer billing records under its own terms.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before renewal through the billing provider customer portal or another cancellation method CS2.you provides. Canceling stops future renewals but does not automatically remove access already granted for the current paid period unless required by law or processor policy.

Refund requests should be sent to billing@cs2.you with the SteamID64, account email used at checkout, and order or subscription reference if available. Refunds are reviewed case by case and may also be subject to the payment provider or Merchant of Record policies, fraud checks, tax rules, and applicable law.

CS2.you may edit, hide, remove, restrict, suspend, or terminate profiles, content, sessions, features, custom URLs, badges, imports, or access when needed to protect the service or users.

CS2.you may preserve logs, audit records, profile changes, admin actions, and technical records to investigate abuse, enforce these Terms, comply with legal obligations, or maintain service integrity.

We may act without prior notice if content or activity appears illegal, abusive, misleading, harmful, infringing, automated, or risky to the site.

CS2.you owns or licenses the site design, code, layout, original text, branding, database structure, and non-Valve service elements.

Valve, Steam, Counter-Strike, CS2, item names, item images, weapon names, stickers, charms, and related game assets belong to their respective owners.

You may not copy, resell, frame, clone, or commercially reuse substantial parts of CS2.you without permission, except where allowed by law.

The CS2.you Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we use it. By using CS2.you, you also agree to the Privacy Policy.

Public profile and public inventory data may remain visible in cached pages, database records, backups, logs, favorites, rankings, or snapshots for a period of time after Steam data changes.

CS2.you is provided on an as-available basis. The service may be interrupted, delayed, changed, limited, or discontinued at any time.

Features may be experimental, incomplete, or changed during launch. CS2.you may resync, recalculate, migrate, trim, archive, or delete data as needed to improve performance, storage, safety, or accuracy.

We are not responsible for downtime, data loss, stale data, sync failures, missed rankings, Steam failures, third-party outages, or changes to third-party APIs.

CS2.you is provided as-is and as-available without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.

We do not warrant that the service will be secure, uninterrupted, accurate, error-free, current, complete, profitable, or suitable for any particular purpose.

You use CS2.you, Steam data, rankings, external links, and any market-related information at your own risk.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, CS2.you and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost items, lost data, lost reputation, account issues, trade losses, market losses, or service interruptions.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, any total liability connected to CS2.you will be limited to the amount you paid to CS2.you for the affected service during the three months before the claim, or 100 US dollars if you paid nothing.

You agree to defend and hold harmless CS2.you and its operators from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the service, your content, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or your violation of another person's rights.

You may stop using CS2.you at any time. CS2.you may suspend or terminate access at any time if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, abused the service, or used the site in a way that harms users, infrastructure, or third-party services.

Sections about data, moderation, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and disputes may continue to apply after access ends.

Before starting a formal dispute, you agree to contact CS2.you support and give the operator a reasonable chance to investigate and resolve the issue.

These Terms are governed by applicable United States law and the laws of the state where the site operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue to apply.

For account support, profile removal, custom URL issues, data questions, or Terms questions, use the CS2.you support page or email support@cs2.you and include your SteamID64 plus a clear description of the request.

For billing, subscription, cancellation, receipt, or refund questions, email billing@cs2.you.

These Terms are intended to be a practical operating policy for CS2.you and are not a substitute for legal advice from an attorney.
